The congress presents the following report, which includes the points that a consensus was reached, to the workers and toilers of Turkey and Cyprus.
North Cyprus and Kurdish region, despite of their significant differences, share a common feature: they are both colonies of the Republic of Turkey
Turkish nationalism, which is a product of the development of capitalism in Turkey, “Turkification” of the capital and the consolidation of the bourgeoisie’s power, is the chief reason of the attacks on the peoples of the region and the main obstacle between the liberation of North Cyprus and Kurds.
In the oppression of Kurds and North Cyprus, American and British imperialism plays a major role and the fight for liberation includes the fight against imperialism
The mass strife of the Kurdish people for liberation is one that all workers and toilers should support
Liberation of Cyprus from the colonial rule of Turkey and from imperialism in overall, requires the common struggle of the two communities and the support of the international working class and the working classes of Turkey and Greece in particular.
As the 5 points above states, our congress puts forward an independent class policy which aims liberation independent from EU, USA and any other imperialist state. The only way to do this is internationalist socialism.
According to these principals, our next aim is to organise a congress in the Kurdish region.
